NACS is holding an “alternative” career symposium for NACS graduate students and graduate students of NACS faculty. Depending on the particular research area, only 20-50% of PhDs end up in tenure track faculty positions. Given these statistics, we believe that it’s important to provide our graduate students with information on the wide variety of career paths available to them once they complete their degree.
This symposium will include talks, discussion/questions, and lunch. Our confirmed speakers cover the areas of entrepreneurship, patent law, business consulting, university administration, nonprofit, government, and industry.
