NACS currently has 53 students in our program. These students work with advisors from 7 different departments (Biology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hearing and Speech Sciences, Human Development, Kinesiology, Linguistics, and Psychology).

For students pursuing PhD degrees in other departmental programs at UMD, the NACS program offers a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate. This certificate program allows students to obtain significant interdisciplinary training that complements their graduate degree.

Opportunities exist for undergraduate students wanting to gain experience in neuroscience and cognitive science through the Major in Neuroscience degree and the Minor in Neuroscience degree, and by doing an internship in a NACS faculty lab.
