The NACS program consists of 106 UMD faculty in 24 different departments & units, 38 adjunct faculty at nearby institutions, and 22 postdoc affiliates.

Currently 52 graduate students are enrolled the NACS program.  As of December 2024, 136 students have received their PhDs.

The NACS program has 3 full-time staff members.  Many faculty, students, and postdoc affiliates serve on NACS program committees.
