Yash graduated from Emory University in 2020 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. As an undergraduate, he worked with Dr. Joe Nocera and Dr. Keith McGregor at the Atlanta VA Center for Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation, where he developed an interest in resting connectivity changes and task-associated neural activity changes that could evidence physical activity's utility for improving cognitive outcomes for older adults. Currently, he is a graduate student under Dr. J. Carson Smith, and he looks to continue investigating exercise's potential to be a treatment for a wide array of aging-related difficulties, as well as other conditions, such as mental health problems, as well.
