Chloe obtained her B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021. During her time at VCU, Chloe worked in the Vascular Integrative Physiology(VIP) lab under Dr. Paula Rodriguez-Miguelez, where she investigated the effects of e-cigarettes on cardiovascular and pulmonary health, as well as the negative impact of early childhood stress on vascular function. Following graduation, Chloe continued working in the VIP lab as a Clinical Research Coordinator prior to joining the NACS program in 2023. Chloe is a fourth year student working under Dr. Anna Li, examining neural mechanisms underlying drug addiction. Her research focuses on investigating mitochondria-associated molecular mechanisms underlying drug seeking behavior and how altering these cellular processes can modulate drug craving during abstinence.
