Adam Brockett, Assistant Research Professor of Psychology, and Matt Roesch, Professor of Psychology, both NACS faculty, are part of a team of researchers who recently had their paper published in Chem. The paper is entitled "Pillar[6]MaxQ: A potent supramolecular host for in vivo sequestration of methamphetamine and fentanyl".
The team, led by Dr. Lyle Isaacs, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, developed a chemical compound that counteracts drugs such as fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other non-opioid drugs of abuse.
For more details, see the press release from The College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences. There is also a video you can watch that further explains their research.
