Drs. Carr and Gordon-Salant's NIDCD T32 grant has been renewed for another 5 years. Now, in its 26th year, the grant will continue to fund seven trainees each year. 

The training grant has brought together 19 exceptionally talented faculty from both the UMD and UMB campuses and other regional research institutions. The training grant has been the impetus for other collaborative grants and projects among the group and links our campus with the medical school and colleagues at NIDCD and Walter Reed.   

Dr. Catherine Carr is a Professor in the Department of Biology, and Dr. Sandra Gordon-Salant is a Professor in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences.
