Congratulations to Dr. Philip Resnik on being named a fellow of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL).

The ACL recognizes Dr. Resnik's "significant contributions to symbolic-statistical methods for natural language processing, multilinguality, and the interdisciplinary study of language." Read the full article here.

Dr. Resnik is a Professor of Linguistics and also hold a joint appointment at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
