NACS faculty member Dr. Jens Herberholz was recently awarded an NIH R03 grant from the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) to study the neurocellular and neurochemical mechanisms underlying the interplay between social experience and alcohol sensitivity in crayfish. The title of his grant is "Modulation of Alcohol Effects on Nervous System Function by Social Experience."
