Research conducted by NACS alumna Dr. Sheikh and Dr. Meng from Dr. Patrick Kanold's lab (now at Johns Hopkins University) is featured in the June 15, 2022 issue of Cerebral Cortex!  Dr. Sheikh's research was done in collaboration with Dr. Joseph Kao (University of Maryland School of Medicine).

Additionally, Dr. Sheikh's research, Neonatal Hypoxia-Ischemia Causes Persistent Intracortical Circuit Changes in Layer 4 of Rat Auditory Cortex, is featured on the cover of the journal. 

Dr. Sheikh received her PhD in 2016 and she was advised by Dr. Patrick Kanold.
