Students enrolled in the NACS program are expected to do the following:
Maintain continuous registration (register for courses and/or pre-candidacy research credits every fall and spring semester).
Meet with their committee once every 12 months.
Attend the all student meetings, NACS seminars, and other NACS activities and events.
Present at NACS events and at national conferences (travel awards are available to help with expenses).
Submit at least one grant application within their first 3 years in the NACS program.
Publish papers.
Meet with their advisor each year to complete a Statement of Mutual Expectations form.
Complete an Annual Progress Report.
