The NACS Retreat brings students and faculty together for a day of research and activities.
The 2026 Retreat will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis, MD from 9:45am-4pm. The schedule of events appears below.
9:45am-10:15am Attendees arrive, get nametags, and have light refreshments
10:15am-11:00am Welcome, new student introductions, and Bingo
11:00am-12:00pm Blitzes by students and faculty
12:00pm-12:30pm Kahoot trivia
12:30pm-12:45pm Group photo on the beach
12:45pm-1:30pm Lunch
1:30pm-2:30pm Research speed dating
2:30pm-4:00pm Crafting activities and free time at the beach
