The Belonging & Support Committee typically holds one event per semester: a virtual NACS Open House in the Fall and in-person Undergraduate Research Information session in the Spring.
NACS Open House:
The NACS Belonging & Support committee holds a virtual open house every Fall over Zoom to discuss our PhD admissions process and provide a brief overview of the NACS program. The slide presentation from the Fall 2025 event is available here.
Undergraduate Research Information:
Interested in conducting neuroscience and cognitive science research? The NACS Belonging & Support committee holds an in-person info session every spring as a way to help undergrads seek out research experience. We discuss how to join a lab for research experience, what to expect, how to get funding, and more. Attendees learn about conducting research from current graduate and undergraduate students. The slide presentation from the Spring 2026 event is available here.
