Jade Dunstan is a postdoctoral associate in the Neurocognitive Development lab led by Dr. Tracy Riggins within the Department of Psychology (PSYC). She completed her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at the University of Maryland from 2020 to 2026, also under Dr. Riggins. Her research uses structural and functional MRI to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying episodic memory development in early childhood. Her dissertation work focused on how children's mnemonic discrimination, the ability to distinguish stimuli with overlapping features, relates to structure and function of the hippocampus.
