Dr. Huang (Frederick) Lin is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Maryland. Methodologically, he specializes in high-dimensional statistics, machine learning, and deep learning techniques. His primary focus is developing methods for analyzing various omics data, particularly in microbiome and metabolomics studies. Dr. Lin also has expertise in causal inference within bioinformatics. His collaborative research extends across cancer, infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, and clinical trial evaluation.
