NACS faculty Derek Paley was named the 2015 Engineer of the Year by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics National Capital Section. Derek received this award for pioneering research that applies methods from engineering and biology to study collective behavior in robotic and natural systems, and for dedication to teaching and mentoring students.
