The University of Maryland was awarded a major grant by the National Institute of Mental Health under the leadership of NACS faculty member Alex Shackman and other investigators, including NACS faculty Nathan Fox and Luiz Pessoa. This grant will support research into understanding mechanisms that promote the development of pathological anxiety and depression.
